Kimblee was sitting up in bed, staring at Trisha intensely; his bronze eyes gleamed brightly with illness, his long hair was tousled and mussed from his thrashing. Trisha had a sudden, frustrated urge to throw something, or to break down kicking and screaming in a tantrum. After all, she'd been taking care of Kimblee for three weeks now, and even her strong will was beginning to break.

  Solf J. Kimblee sat in his desk, looking at a School Rule book with annoyense in his surrounding atmosphere. He then gazed out the window. A very pieceful, sunny, chipper day it was. Not a gray cloud in the sky. Just perfect...

Bright lights. White sheets. Masked and gowned figures. One of them placed a hissing black thing over Kimblee's nose and mouth before a gentle, yet strange voice urged him to "breathe deeply." His head already muzzy from the sleep medication, Kimblee obeyed and his surroundings faded away into swirling darkness.
"He's so congested doc; do you think he'll get enough of the gas?"
"We'll leave it on a bit longer, just to make sure."
"Kimblee?"
Something cold and wet touched his forehead, and he began shivering.
"That voice…could it be?"

Hi - just popping over to promote an art challenge some of your members might enjoy.

It's time for the FMA Big Bang Challenge once again. However, things are going to run a bit differently this year. In fact. they're going to run completely in reverse!

That's right folks, this year's challenge will actually be a Reverse Big Bang. This means that you, the artists, set the pace this year by drawing whatever FMA-themed art you are bunnied to. After it's done, we'll pair you up with an author who will then write a story inspired by your art. How cool is that? Usually it's fanfic that inspires art, but here is your chance as an artist to directly inspire an author or two.

While the challenge is hosted on Livejournal, you do not need a Livejournal account to sign up.
